The KosmiK Konnection is very pleased to be involved in the production of the BELIEVE Freedom Festival, a new five-day electronic, world music and culture festival coming to the Whistler fromJuly 11 to 15 this Summer 2013.
The roster is shaping up to be an eclectic offering with everyone from Bob Marley's son Julian Marley & The Uprising to Southern California hip hop act The Luminaries on the Sun City stage. Also on the list are a host of cultural acts, including First Nations Eagle Song Dancers, a 10-piece Mexican mariachi band called Los Dorados and Japanese drummers Uzume Taiko.
Organizers didn't forget about local artists, adding Miss Kosmik, Stevie James, Milton of the KosmiK Konnection as well as DJs Phroh, Kori K and many more to spin sets. B.C. acts Sticky Buds, Timothy Wisdom, Wood N Soo and Rennie Foster from Vancouver were among the acts announced.
The Galaxy Stage will be the place to hear some of the best trance and progressive EDM with international stars like E-Clip, Egorytmia, Infinity, Flexus, Time in Motion, Mindwave, Helber Gun, Symphonix, Atmos, Ritmo, Lish, Rocky , Easy Rider, Funky Dragon and Protonica with local and West Coast star Smoke Sign and Canadians Jay Michael, Smiley Mike and Kundalini Rising among others.
