About DJ Chris CHill (click read more)
Chris Hill (a.k.a Chris CHill) has been pulsing sonic sound journey's, along with guiding downtempo and chillout spaces in Canada, the U.S and Mexico for more than 13yrs. His passion is to use music and gatherings as a magnet and communication tool to unite communities thru art and culture.
For "those who know", Chris CHill is one of Canada's top chillout downtempo dj's. Having played all across the continent and collecting music for over 20 years, Chris' collection includes many gems. A major influential part of his dj sets has been Interchill records, which he promotes and helps to represent them since their inception over 12 years ago.
On top of navigating sonic sound journey's as an international dj, Chris has been producing events for over 20 years and has been traveling to Mexico from Vancouver to establish a network with festival promoters and artists called the Mycorrhiza Collective GreenGrooves.org. Winter 1998 to summer 2000 Chris spent a few years in Whistler dj'ing at venues such as GLC, Merlins, Dustys, Boot Pub as well as co-producing events such as the Eco-Fest, in support of preserving and protecting the Elaho and Stein Valley.
Chris has now just got back Whistler with the intention of offering a variety of fun and intelligent events including music gathering, workshops, activities and showcases. Chris' events are intended to be geared towards people who appreciate eclectic programming with transformative virtue in welcoming environments.
