He started playing at small house parties and renegades, spinning genres that caught his ear in the past years, dubstep and Dnb, through more practice and gigs he started to play multiple genres. With a wide selection of music you can expect anything from this guy!

Deep down in the darkest depths of the jungle there was a sound that was born. In that sound, there was a heartbeat. That heartbeat resonated like a drum, and the drum signalled the birth of the Angry Samoan! Picking up his first dance album in 97 from NY's Bad Boy Bill, he quickly realized his passion for the music. Embracing the art and the signing of Neo Tribe in 2000, he landed gigs with Sic vicious, DJ Brain and DJ Trevor from MoonTribe. Angry Samoan's tribal style pulled to Australia, where he was greatly inspired by their scene and fueled by seeing such greats as Timo Maas, Sister Bliss, Chris Liberator and more, the Samoan started his own successful lounge house night. Since the success of his night in Melbourne, Angry Samoan has played with numerous greats including Deko-ze, John Kelly, Johnny Fiasco, Paranoid Jack, Nicky Delgado, R.C Lair and The Firm. With huge festival shows including SoundWave & VEMF, and his new affiliations with Tribe and ShortFuse Productions, the Angry Samoan is hungry for more and ready to bring his unique blend of dirty tribal electro house & breakbeats to the dance floor, or sandy cave, nearest you.

Solartribe, Kosmik Konnection | Whistler
A native of Toronto, Stevie has had an impact on scenes across Canada over the past 11 plus years. With his innovative approach in his sets. He has become a peak-time favorite from Toronto all the way out to Whistler, where he now resides and works with The Solartribe, who throw upbeat Full Moon parties every month. Since arriving in B.C. , Stevie has graced the dancefloors of venues across the province, having made stops in Vancouver, Whistler, Victoria, Squamish, Revelstoke and Nelson . Stevie has also made a notable inpact at outdoor events such as Basscoast 2010 and Shambhala 2011 at The Village Stage, where he now is a stage lead for the PK Sound crew. In the past couple of years, Stevie has gone into producing, and has had much success in his first few releases, and with that, he has gained much attention internationally. Keep an eye out for this up-and-coming dj/producer in the coming months!

Miss KosmiK (aka Marie Fortin) is a Whistler based DJ and Miss KosmiK (aka Marie Fortin) is a Whistler based DJ and Promoter with a mission to make the world a better place using the power of music. Marie’s KosmiK journey started in 1996, when she founded KosmiK Productions when living in Quebec. Now as full time resident of Whistler for over 10 years, Marie has gained a reputation for putting on great parties and for rocking dance floors wherever she goes. Known for her funkiness, mixing heavy baselines with uplifting grooves, you can be sure to get moving with her funky beats. Over her career, Miss KosmiK has played at many outdoor parties including Shambhala 2011, SCOTT 2010 & 2011, SEXY SOUNDS 2011, several Full Moons Parties with the Solartribe Collective and many other gatherings in the Sea to Sky Corridor. When it comes to clubs, she has played in all of Whistler’s nightclubs, including Maxx Fish, Tommy’s Africa, Moe Joe’s, Garfinkels, Merlin’s and Savage Beagle all the way to a few clubs in Revelstoke and Vancouver. For the past couple years, Miss KosmiK also can be found playing with Stevie James under the KosmiK Konnection. For the past couple years, Miss KosmiK and Stevie James have been doing shows under the KosmiK Konnection - get ready for a taste of what Whistler is craving!
