Frequency Fridays

Frequency Fridays

Black's Pub, Whistler, BC

Organized by KosmiK and sponsored by Russell Brewing Company, Frequency Fridays was a unique musical experience and brought a lot of people to Black's Pub. Frequency Fridays also raised $155 for AWARE (The Association of Whistler Are Resident for the Environment). Thanks to Black's Pub, Russell Beer and all of those who drank Russell beers! You contributed to the protection of Mother Nature ;)

About AWARE (click read more)

AWARE has been at the forefront of the environmental movement for the last 20 years in Whistler. What started as a group of like-minded individuals wanting to do something about recycling getting together and helping start the Re-Use-it Center is now the only charitable non-profit organization in Whistler focused on protecting our environmental.

AWARE relies on it's directors and members to make sure Mother Nature is heard at the various open houses, task forces, committees, council meetings in Whistler. Through projects such as the Kids Nature Club, re-usable bag campaign, enviro-film festival, speaker series and speaking on current environmental issues such as land protection and preservation, AWARE has a very important role in our community.
